East Coast Energy Private Limited ("ECEPL"), one of our portfolio companies is an SPV for developing a 1,320 MW Coal Fired Power Project in Kakarapalli, Srikakulam Dist, Andhra Pradesh, India on build, own, operate basis.
We led an investment of USD 25 MM by PTC India Financial Services Ltd (“PFS”) in ECEPL, through a structured note in March, 2009.
| PFS is a non-banking financial company promoted by PTC India Ltd ("PTC"), Goldman Sachs and Macquarie. While PTC holds 60% of the equity in PFS, the balance 40% of equity is held equally by the other two. |
